Miss Harlow’s newborn ‘Fresh 48’ photoshoot

After what seemed like waiting forever for baby’s arrival, Miss Harlow Margaret Fournier came 8 days late on September 15th, 2016 at 11:17 PM, weighing 7 lbs 9 oz, and more perfect than I could have ever imagined her being.

We are so grateful that she decided to come on her own terms just 2 days before we were scheduled to induce. It was a long labour that ended with a canceled emergency c-section. We are just thrilled that we were able to get her out safely for both mom and baby without having to undergo surgery as well.

One thing Will and I are big on is documenting our lives through photography. So, when my friend Amanda Simpson offered to come for a ‘Fresh 48’ newborn photo session, we jumped at the opportunity as these moments are so fleeting and precious, and we wanted Will to be able to experience it rather than be responsible for capturing it.

And I am so glad we did this, because the photos turned out even better than I could have ever imagined and captured our time at the hospital perfectly. They are ones that we will cherish for her lifetime and is something I would highly recommend to any momma and daddy-to-be.

All photos are by the talented Amanda Simpson Photography.
