Spring cleaning on the blog

Change is good. Sometimes change is hard, and other times, change is welcomed with open arms. In this case, change is spontaneous and still in progress. But progress is good too! And so far, I am really liking the new set-up. I am still figuring out the quirks and format, which always takes some time, but I love playing with the possibilities and getting into the nitty gritty of the site.Surprisingly, my little slice of the Internet has gone through a number of changes in the little time that I have had it. Originally, it was called Polkadot Pirates and had a very different look and feel to the site both visually and in the content. I decided to change to Sweet Green Studios because I wanted to watch the blog grow and needed a name to support my potential growth. Fun fact: Sweet Green Studios was actually named after my favourite tea.IMG_20140630_193128And grow it has! I still cannot explain the feeling when I receive one more follower or see another comment. It means a lot to know that there are people out there who are interested in what I have to say and the crafts I have to share. I feel as though it's time for a cleaner layout that I have more control over. It is more visually focused, and will help me showcase the photography that I am getting much better at taking. And so I would like to welcome you to my refreshed version of Sweet Green Studios. I hope you will stay a while and check out what's new.
