Love notes for Valentine's

One of the 25 things I want to do before I turn 25 was to write random notes of kindness and send them to my friends and family. Well, what better time is there to spread the love than Valentine's Day?So this weekend, I pulled out my paint supplies, stamp set and paper cutter, and got straight to work.Valentine's NotesI used my watercolours to create an ombre effect on each card, ensuring that each was unique like the person I would be sending it to. I then fastened it to the blank kraft paper cards and stamped a word on each that I had picked to encompass the personality of the recipients.Close-up Valentine's Day notesInside each card, I wrote a little note of kindness to each of the 12 people I picked for this project. It's always hard to write just a couple of notes, since I don't want to leave anyone out. This time, I decided to stick with family members so that it was a little easier to narrow down.Cornerstone Valentine's CardTo finish them off, I stamped an "XO" inside and taped each envelope shut with some striped red and white washi tape.Thoughtful Valentine's Day CardI hope these snail mail notes bring happiness to the people who receive them. They were so much fun to make, and made me realize how easy it is to brighten someone's day.
