Wedding Wednesdays: Cupcake Picks

So I have completely fallen in love with this blog Something Turquoise. She has tons of awesome DIY crafts for weddings that Will and I have already jumped into. Here is a link to the tutorial that we used to create our toothpicks we will be putting in our cupcakes at our wedding.After a fun (read: fun for me, tolerable for Will) trip to Michaels and the use of numerous coupons from their app, we were all set for our crafternoon! Here is the end product that we came up with. We used Jen's generous printables for the rings and Will found a nice font and put together our initials. The one thing I did change from the tutorial was using two foam adhesive circles instead of just one. It made the final product just a little more secure.This was an affordable project that will add a bit of flare and personality to our reception. I am really looking forward to trying more of her DIY projects! And I will definitely be using my Martha Stewart punch again soon... love the idea of two punches in one!
