I know what it's like to try to reduce plastic and feel like I am never doing enough. This little collection is an easy way to celebrate the little things that we can do to make a big difference. It's not about a few people doing zero-waste perfectly, but rather a bunch of people doing what they can imperfectly.

Here are the perfect products for the earth-lover.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who designed the pin?

Canadian Illustrator (and our cousin), Nasus Lee designed the pins. She is located in BC, Canada, as a tiny artist living in a BIG world! She draws and animates for a living and loves food (and bees)!

How do they work?

Use the heat of your hand to mould the wrap around a bowl or piece of food. Beeswax wraps are ideal for cheese, cut vegetables, fruit, snacks and anything you used to wrap in plastic. Beeswax wraps are not safe for the oven, microwave or dishwasher and are not recommended for use with meat or eggs.

Why beeswax?

Beeswax has a TON of great benefits, making it a healthy and safe alternative to plastic wrap.  including the following:

  • It’s natural, eco-friendly and non-toxic
  • It has antibacterial properties that help keep things clean and reduces risks of contamination
  • It’s thought to have anti-fungal properties that help to prevent the growth of yeasts and other fungi
  • It’s edible, so safe to use with food products
  • It’s waterproof so it keeps unwanted moisture out, while trapping food’s natural moisture in
  • It doesn’t go bad

What are the ingredients of your wraps?

We use 100% cotton fabrics & 100% pure Canadian beeswax

How long do the wraps last?

If taken care of properly, beeswax wraps last about one year from purchase.

How do you clean & store the wraps?

Simply wipe the wraps clean with a damp cloth and store in a dry place. It’s not recommended that the wraps be used to wrap meats or eggs.

When I am finished using my wraps, how do I dispose of them?

The wraps are fully compostable, so when you feel your wrap is ready to be tossed, simply throw it in your compost bin.

What are the straws made of?

The straws are made of food-grade stainless steel. The package comes with 2 bent straws, 2 straight straws, a cleaning brush and a 'Sweet Green' carry bag.
